The year 2020 will be remembered by most people around the world as the year when the Covid-19 Virus arrived and life changed for almost everyone. For the Friends of Hoar Oak Cottage all of our 2020 speaking engagements and invitations to exhibit were cancelled. They have been rebooked for 2021 but even now, in August 2020, there is a creeping doubt that they will be able to go ahead. Only time will tell.
To try and fill the gap a little The Friends have produced a booklet – A Portrait of Hoar Oak Cottage – which contains information used in our The Place, The People, The Life presentation used at speaking engagements.
