The Place Collection holds material relating to the Cottage and its architecture and building history. It holds photos, artwork, other representations divided into either:
- The cottage before 2010 when the Exmoor National Park Authority began the work to reduce it to a ‘safe’ ruin.
- The cottage post 2010 – photos taken in the past decade or so.
- Architectural detail photos – close up showing how the cottage was built.
